Little Weekend Vacay
My Dad and I drove out to Rocky Mount, VA for a visit with my Aunt Tammy and Uncle Jim. It was a great visit minus the pouring rain on the 5+ hour trip out that way. That being said, I finally was able to see something I've been meaning to check out for quite a while. That would be the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA. The link below will send you to the photos I took of that visit. We also drove a segment of the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was also very beautiful even as we began to lose sunlight.

Great job with the pics. I really enjoyed our trip this weekend. I also liked your suggestion about the Peaks of Otter for 30th anniversary.
