Is this what I have to look forward to...

...as I get older? I'm talking about how time flies! It felt like just a week and some change ago that I was out celebrating the start of this year. Now here it is...pretty much February. Man, oh man...September needs to take its sweet time getting here.

One good thing about next month? I managed to squeeze 3 pay checks into the shortest month of the year! w00t!

One of my favorite people in the world turns 80 today. Happy Birthday Granddad! I love you and can't wait to see you and Nana this weekend! :)

So, it's time for my tags to get renewed...and after spending like an hour trying to think of a Saints vanity plate (unsuccessfully), I try to renew on the DMV's website. It's then that I hit a roadblock...I need an emissions inspection to proceed.

Ahhh...the joys of living in NoVA.

I'm back...

That's right...after like 5 months, I'm finally lifting weights again. Nothing too strenuous...just some free weights to build up the arms, and some pull ups too. Basically limiting myself to my building's gym will keep me from overdoing it this time...especially since there are no machines to work on one's legs. So basically free weights for me, then either the treadmill or elliptical trainer. Then when it gets warmer, I'll run through Crystal City.

Oh, and OMG I love the new Apple notebook. Except for one thing...no built-in optical drive. :(

Not much going on here...just working and such. One cool note is that Aaron is actually supposed to be up here this weekend. We'll probably hit a couple unique places to eat and head to Georgetown on Saturday night.

Well, after 2 and a half months of not having the following: I got paid today, medical insurance, and dental coverage.

*whew*

Although there is one down note...I also got a County sticker. Yes, they still have that windshield clutterer up here in NoVA.

It's time to start saving money!!! I was just on the Saints site...and they will be playing the Redskins here in DC next season!!! There's no date yet...but I will be all over that as soon as tickets go up for sale!!!

Well, I called it as soon as I got to the bar with the boys...but I'm hurting today. Self-inflicted hurt if you catch my drift. Anyways, thought I should get my first post of the new year up and share my outfit from last night.
