1 tiny step down

So I'm now one step closer to going to school full time. I received my Certificate of Eligibility from the V.A. today. Not that I expected any less, but I will receive the whole 36 months of paid tuition etc... :D

Now I need to start talking to these schools.

Well, got some photos of myself from the 5K on Sunday. Too bad they are tiny and water-marked! Why you ask, because the photographers want almost $30 a picture for a digital download! Now, I'm all about someone making some money...but that is just ridiculous...

Cool 5K Thingie

Well, I had an awesome 5K this morning up in the Clarendon/Rosslyn sections of Arlington. It was great weather, and even though I'm still hovering the 25-26 minute time frame this year, I felt I ran a very strong one today. Anyways, I thought I'd share the results with you....because it's cool the way they have it set up.

Once there, click:
1. 5k Searchable Results and Course Simulation System
2. Then search by last name (I'm surprisingly the only Lynch that ran the 5K)
3. Once it found my name, click it in the bottom window...once my name show up in the top window area, click "Start Simulation"

Not much to it...but it's very cool nonetheless. Also of note I finished ahead of 536 other people!

Well, I must say even after being put a back a couple times, tonight's "Scrubs" finale was just what I wanted it to be. I won't even lie to you, I did mist up during the final 10 minutes of the hour long episode. Good bye old friend...it has been real.

Almost the end...

Well, tomorrow night I say goodbye to a dear friend of mine. That's when my favorite show on the air right now, "Scrubs", has its final episode. One less night of TV for Mikey to watch will be one notable effect of this (it will only be Monday night for the foreseeable future, at least until football season). Anyways, it's been a great 8 (eight!) years...and it has been great to finally have the show in HD this year.

As for the rumors on it possibly coming back? I actually hope not, since Zach Braff is officially done with it...if they must bring it back, it has to be a spin-off only.

Oh well...here's to a great send off tomorrow night!

Just had to share...

So DSW Shoe Warehouse is one dangerous place...seems like every time I buy a pair of shoes there, they send me a $10 gift certificate to tempt me back in. Anyways, I've been wanting a pair of white Pumas for a while now...and I thought I'd share the bottom of the ones I picked up tonight. Very cool.
